Security Analyst 1As a Security Analyst at Norwich University, I play a crucial role in safeguarding the university's IT infrastructure against cyber threats. I monitor the network for security risks, investigate incidents, and implement Privileged Access Management (PAM) to prevent unauthorized software on university machines. I create comprehensive vulnerability reports to improve patching procedures and manage Multifactor Authentication (MFA) for all students, faculty, and staff, strengthening our defenses. Additionally, I optimize user management processes, maintain DNS records for multiple domains, and deliver targeted Cyber Security Training, including simulated phishing tests. I also assess new vendors and software for compatibility with our existing security measures, ensuring robust protection and seamless integration within our technology ecosystem. |
Norwich Undergrad and Masters
Masters of Science in Cyber Security
Concentration in Critical Infrastructure and Cyber Crime
Graduated May 2024
While employed at Norwich, I also worked on my Master' degree through Norwich's Online school. I choose the Critical Infrastructure and Cyber Crime concentration as a way to expand my knowledge after having sparked my curiosity at the Hack the Building event during my Undergrad. My final paper revolved around the storage and security of Nuclear Power plants as well as the waste they produce. Finally participating in my Masters graduation with my entire family made me incredibly proud given during my Undergrad graduation was limited due to the Pandemic.

Bachelor of Science in Computer Security and Information Assurance
Concentration in Information Assurance with a Minor in Leadership
Graduated May 2021
Graduating during Covid was an experience the four years that made up my Undergraduate where inspiring. My love for computers and cyber security grew leaps and bounds. My undergrad was marked with multiple experiances including taking and internship under Norwich University CISO and working as a Senior Fellow for CYFER. CYFER used open source tools including Proxmox and PFSense for an educational environment. During my Fall semester for Senior year I spent working in Maryland at Dreamport and living in Washington D.C. Here I ran the virtual Hack The Building stream, which entailed a conversation about the vulnerabilities of IT/OT/IOT devices in industrial buildings.

Camp and Trip Leading in Maine
During my time at Bryant Pond 4-H camp, I had the privilege of working with campers ranging from ages 6 to 18. I led the Junior Maine Guide Program at Bryant Pond, drawing on my certification as a Junior Maine Guide and own experiences as a camper prior to being a councilor. My role involved guiding trips across various mountains and lakes, where I shared my passion for the outdoors. I effectively communicated with campers, parents, and staff, imparting knowledge and fostering a love for nature. My qualifications include Wilderness First Aid and CPR, Maine State Trip Leader certification, Junior Maine Guide status, UMaine Belay level 2 certification, and SERV Safe.
